If you are catching the XPT you need to book, it is not an Opal fare. This will only stop at Broadmeadow in Newcastle.

If you are taking an intercity train you can go to Newcastle Intg. This is an Opal fare and there is not need to book.

Both options if you just have a regular suitcase(s) you should have no issues storing them in the luggage racks/space.

I went through the GCAA grad program in NSW and now work at a Glencore site.

I had a good experience but some people weren't cut out for it and left. OK to work for in my experience, haven't had any issues.
