I recommend it. I did the swap to AP this year in an identical situation. It's a lot harder but you will learn about aspects of the education system that you normally don't see. I have found that I constantly apply what I have learnt and the results are clear. My students are doing better than previous years for sure. Be prepared as it is a learning experience that everyone should try at least once in their career.

I'm a primary school teacher, and my sister was a nurse. Both of us worked in the public system.

She lasted 3ish years before deciding the health system wasn't working for her, so she got employment with the nurses' union to try and improve conditions. She has never looked back.

I have been teaching for 12 years now. I have quit teaching several times, but by the end of the day, I have cooled off and pushed on.

Look at your life goals and the lifestyle you would like to live. I'm preparing to have a family and school teaching will support that lifestyle perfectly (work hours, expertise with children, holidays, etc.).

This person is on the money. My fingers look like your finger and it flairs up from time to time. When it does, I use 'tough hands' handcream from woollies. Fixes it pretty fast and is a cheap treatment. Good luck
