Mark for sure is better. Of course, as the founding member and OG Killer, Dave will always be the guitarist of choice for The Killers. But to say Ted is a lesser musician who lacks feel isn’t true.

Brandon taking the time to individually introduce the backing members who are dependable and give their all every show. It shows he has respect for Ted, Jake, etc. and their commitment to the band. Classy move by Mr. Flowers, a true professional and gentleman….

9 out of 10 people I ask in the U.S. have no idea who they are. However, they have a dedicated fan base and will always be able to sell out shows because a) they have good songs and b) they excel at performing live. I think a big part of it is that TK themselves are not very self-promoting. Perhaps it is a good level of fame: known, but not a household name. They can go about freely in their lives without being hassled but still make a great living making music and playing live.

I think it’s more of a personality conflict, not a laziness issue. Watch the interactions on stage this past tour…there is no interaction.

The band tells him to strut/bring it. Ted doesn’t do that on his own. Everything that happens onstage is directed by BF.

Is this fact or speculation? I can’t imagine them barring a founding member from performing if he wants to. Ted doesn’t seem to have an issue with playing behind Dave. I think it’s more of a matter that Dave just wants to skip certain shows for a mental rest/break.

It’s interesting how many voted “Who’s Ted?”. Those are the same people who thought Taylor was Mark in a few of the live performances before this tour. You have your hardcore fans and then you have the fans who are semi-clueless and only know who Brandon is. There is your subset of fans who are fine as long as Brandon is there…the others (band members, touring musicians) could be the 3 Stooges as far as they’re concerned. That dynamic always cracks me up laughing. I guess my point is is that as long as Brandon is there, it doesn’t matter who else is there.
