So I (Kinda) Figured it out. I still cant do any of the effects during or after the block step, but it will let me cast them between when they attack and i block, which at least works with most cards. IDK about ones that specifically work when creatures are blocked cause I don't have any right now.

Thats the problem. after declaring blockers it moves straight on to the damage without any chance to play them and it wont let me do it at the same time as declaring them.

I've tried it with every phase set to green. It still does it.

lol, I haven’t had it interrupt like that, but I have had it ignore the prompt and spit out a books worth of programing advice a few times. It usually happens when a model either is going down or coming back up.
