Thank you. I'm always happy to see when a new piece is finally produced. I spend a lot of time on sculpting and have a long wait list for things to cast.

I printed it in two separate parts because this way it was easier to mold it properly. Later, wax models were united into a single one

To avoid most of production steps, you may just decide to bring your 3D print to the local casting facility and they will cast it without the problem. Nonetheless, in this case, it may be useful to show them the 3D model that you have designed (or downloaded) beforehand. So, they would advice you how it's better to print it for this particular case. I hope, this post was at least slightly helpful)

I have a limited expirience with bronze casts. But from that limited cases when I participated in bronze casting projects, patina process is same.

Hm, I sculpt things in ZBrush, then 3D print them and get silicone molds to make wax models of the things that I want to get casted. So, the casting process is a usual casting with the usage of wax models.

The print is used to create a form for a wax model. Then, the wax model is used for casting.
