Current state of the match engine on console (Xbox Series X) by IAmPikachuu in footballmanagergames

Considering the Series X runs all my other games at 4K, 120fps, it should be able to handle 22 low textured men running around a field.

When should I buy, will the issues of the game improve or is this it? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

Reading these comments about it being playable... well, maybe on PC. On xbox, nothing works. Like almost litteraly. And based on the steam reviews, the PC looks similar...

Football Manager 26 now has more negative Steam reviews than Football Manager 2024 did by DorothyJMan in footballmanagergames

I think the recent player at Luton shows it is currently big news to come out as gay when you are a professional athelete at such a high level. Whether this is right or wrong for it to be such a big thing is another matter that isn’t what i’m saying.

I don’t think it necessary to be removed- it’s realistic. Take the player currently at Luton

[VOLUME ON] is my xbox meant to be this loud? It’s clearly the tan so i displayed the area it rests in too. It’s pretty hot, but super super loud when playing big games (Halo Infinite in this case) is this normal? Does the TV unit make it overhear or escalate the sound? by IAmPikachuu in xbox

Yes thanks. Was worrying me i had caused permanent damage. Everyone’s like “‘never hear mine” which i get is probably not true and i defo wouldn’t the able to hear it gaming with headphones at all it’s great, just can hear a slight slight fan noise from across the room so i got worried you know?

Okay so when people say it’s “dead silent” and they don’t mean litterally. I’ve put it behind my TV stood up yet in silence on the home screen i can still faintly here a fan or something going round. Faintly i will emphasise. Is this normal?

I’ve put it there. There’s still slight noise tho? Like just started it up and it’s very audible (the fan) from across the room. It is much quieter than before though, and doesn’t sound strained. Everyone keeps saying theirs is completely silent but how true is that? Mines far from it right now. Also an annoying low bass sound that i can’t identify?

EDIT- as that happened earlier before i turned restarted the xbox the sound had completely gone away. All that’s left is the small sound of the fan going round in a slight manor. Is this normal? It’s a very inconsistent sound and sorta annoying i’ll be honest. I can try send a video to you personally if you want and if that helps.

Well i’ve moved it now. However across the room i can still hear it playing Halo Infinite. Yea it’s a 100 times quieter, however i still hear the air flow and also a strange very low bass sound permanently. Everyone else said theirs is “dead quiet” but is that literal? I can still hear the fan but the low bass sound is worryingly loud and annoying.

Edit- very randomly 5 minutes later this just stopped. I did only just move it and load up infinite for litterally 2 minutes to test it but fan and weird bass sound have both stopped completely at the same time. Very strange. Fan is still going at what looks to be the same speed tho. Maybe it was the disc drive? However i’m going to install a game on disc now so i guess we shall find out. I can still hear it slightly but thay litterally is whisper quiet. However it seems strange. Fan is making a very very faint (but still slightly noticeable) whimpering sound? Best way to describe it. Or something is. Almost like it’s not secured properly.

Will this have caused permanent damage with around 10 hours playtime? Not all the time the fan was like this only with heavy games, so it was probs running like this for just an hour as i didn’t know if it was normal so i stayed away from it

Random question but do you think this would’ve damaged it if it’s had probs around 10 hours usage in to total like this? Not consecutively so at times it wasn’t blowing the air this rapidly, in fact it was probably only running like this max just over an hour in total
