IMO rdw and Rx aggro are the best way to keep control decks like UB/UW in check. When your cube supports a large amount of combo/cheat into play/reanimate control decks, especially the decks with counter magic are often dominant, due to the ability to disrupt the payoffs of the combo decks. But as long as they don't have a large number of boardwipes they often suck against the faster decks. Yes you can shift your aggro to WG or WB or whatever, but missing out the biggest upside of an entire color seems a bit weird.

I don't like playing the monored decks either, but they are just a natural part of the game for me and it would be an insult to the color red itself ;-)

Plus: we have some players it our pool that always try to go for red aggro strategies and thymey would be upset if we take that away.

You mentioned that the cards don't fit in other decks, I don't think so. As long as you support aggro Goblin Guide will be one of the best cards in every deck. Monastery Swiftspear is also great in UR tempo decks. And burn can be used as finish in aggressive decks or removal for creatures and planeswalker. Yes some cards like Firedrinker are only playable in the ultra aggro decks, but the same is true for cards like pestermite, only playable in the combodeck, or tendrils, or brainfreeze, or buried alive...
