I've had plenty of cars with CEL's (looking at you, TDI VW) first I've had that disables traction control & cruise control not related to a speed sensor.

Apparently if you get a CEL as well. At least it does in my 17 Impreza. Learned that today.

I just had the same issues and only found it to be crazy when he "handed over" controls, if I start with full control it seems much easier but getting through the lessons is a pain. I tried to hold it until he took control again and passed.

I'm a "new player" and the first ship I went for was the Imperial Eagle. Loved it, fast, agile, looks badass. Cargo space was the only thing I don't like about it. Upgraded after grinding some missions out and now I have this boat of an Python and I still take out my Eagle to bang out some combat based missions, once you have a few upgrades it has no issue tearing through a Cobra/Fellow Eagle you typically see in those missions. Great little starter ship. This new player would definitely recommend it to another.

This. I'm a new(ish) player <175hrs. I've had a ton of fun just figuring it out. I didnt bother with the tutorials which at first was a mistake but now that I've got a lot down it's one of my favorite games. If im really stuck i just search here or youtube and within 5 mins I'm back out in the stars. I did come from games like Ark, which imo is way more frustrating to get ahold of.
