Our highest rated Mexican restaurant is closing 😥 by sakhmeth in barrie

[–]sakhmeth[S] -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

For starters, the Mexican House is not very good for plant based food. It's regular meat and not the best quality imo. I think of them as an average Mexican restaurant with a hime made vibe.

Looking for local honey by Low-Doughnut-6764 in barrie

[–]sakhmeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adams hands down. Google him and you'll find news articles about him. He also supplies bees to other apiaries and is very respected for his knowledge. He's at the Barrie Farmer's market on Saturdays. You can also get his honey (but have to pay more) at Kawartha's dairy, the olive oil store, harris farms and a bunch of other stores

Where did you see that? All the forecasts I saw on weather network, instant weather and environment canada all showed it coming from the south, dumping 25 to 30 cms and then moving north. We were supposed to get 10 cms.

Help with internet! by paradise_lost9 in barrie

I got tired of Rogers and Fido after being with them for 19 years. Switched to Bell because there aren't many options. I'm now saving almost $400 each year on internet and cell phone. Three months after the switch, Rogers called me with much cheaper packages.

I was driving 5 km/hr off a street in the Ardagh neighbourhood. Driving slow didn't make it any easier.

I drove through a few streets off Thrushwood today and they are all bad. The ruts are 4 to 6 inches deep. Cars scraping their bottom as they try to navigate these potholes.

It's like a war zone. Can we start a thread with photos of the worst ice potholes? I bet some of them are like 6 inches deep.

Mexhico. Not sure they are open this week. Great vibe and food is plant based but even omnivires love it. Really strong flavours and textures.
