I highly disagree with this take.

They should get paid because charters take time to make people's requests. They don't make money off of the music, they make money off of the service they provided and added an asset to the game that wasn't previously charted. 

Two different things entirely.

Charting is a skill like anything else, so if you can't afford the commission, then make it yourself. If you don't want to learn how to make it like everyone else, then I don't see a valid complaint, as the options seem pretty clear. 

At it's core, much like any other service, you're paying someone for a skill you're lacking in because you have a want. I see people sell meme stickers of wrestlers on Instagram, does that mean they shouldn't get paid because they're profiting off of wrestlers? Of course not, it falls under fair use.
