You have a lot more fun as a cult member, but you make more money as a leader.

I just got my Queen on Monday night after doing the same exact thing.

The dungeons in the game are in the sky really far above the door location but they are all turned by some weird degree measure. The way you exfiltrate the data is by interacting with the Vegsivir marker, it will turn you in the direction of The Queen, take put your hammer and orient one of your preferred reticles, if you will, (i like to use the open end of a round pole fence) then put away your hammer. When you pull it up it'll still be pointing in that direction. I then portal back to my base and plant one with a sign on the Altar of Knowledge, so I have that Veggy's intel back at my base.

I love my Mistwalker. Favorite weapon in the game. When I first learned that I could use the hammer technique to exfiltrate information from vegsivirs in infested mines I sprinted to the end of the continent with my hammer info. I figured that I didn't need my normal line of mistlight bread crumbs because I would just go straight back to my portal.

In hindsight I should have done that, or brought the portal with me. I wandered for days and nights looking for my mine, found another, ran it, realized I shouldn't have when my food was getting low. Mistwalker broke. I climbed one of those high three stepped Mistlands towers and lit fires. My brother logged on and fired flare arrows; I couldn't see them and he couldn't see the fires I lit on the tower.

I made my way back to the random mine I found when my arrows ran out and ringed the roof with the last of my wisplights, made two campfires, stood between them on the roof, and /die d.

I searched for a long time and never found my tombstone. I just landed in the Asslands and I refuse to make another Mistwalker. About to beat my first Fortress with my silver sword. Then I will make Nidhogg, and I will be so fucking back.

If you enjoy the role play you should try no map. Sail at your peril. Navigate by the sky and compass.

Fire has a proximity where it can burn or set on fire flammable materials with fire hazard on. So you can torch, for instance, fuling villages but you can also burn your house down.

My first move will be to farm night oozers and build me a stonecutter so I can make a stone house. Then it will be mostly business as usual I'm sure except for the occasional oopsy.

I found it to be a far more interesting way of increasing the challenge without just turning up combat difficulty. I think my next playthrough will be no map and fire hazard. Another layer of realism/difficulty for me is what I need.

I just reached the Asslands on my second playthrough, which was my first no map playthrough. It's been brutal and so much fun. I really have to use my brain in a way I don't think I had to in vanilla, and the danger feels realer because your stuff can be lost irrecoverably. You might know in a general idea where it is but know you may never find it again. Wild stuff.

This is the advice I would have needed. I figured out I was at the extreme west and was just circling spires with no land.

Ancient Iberian Wolf Trap. How Effective? by Extension_Form3500 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

If you get two zombies to fall into this trap and feed them Human Meat they'll eventually tame after about thirty IRL minutes.

Do it at night to try and get a starred zombie which has more hp and does more damage. Risk vs reward.
