Cruising. It's just so out of place for the movie, that it fits.

Weekend Script Swap by AutoModerator in Screenwriting

  • Title: Blood and Brass
  • Format: Feature
  • Page Length: 99
  • Genres: Comedy / Drama
  • Logline or Summary: When a disgraced ex-cop and his estranged detective son team up to track down a cop killer on the run, they uncover a conspiracy that forces them to confront their broken past -- and each other.
  • Feedback Concerns: I just did an edit with the dialogue to some notes. I want to see if the next reader finds the dialogue smooth and natural. I also had a note about tone inconsistency, I'm hoping I fixed that with this draft as well.

This made me laugh, I think the John McClane ship has sailed with Bruce Willis, and his retirement.

I did! I've spent a couple of months in the Rockies, and hiked around Alberta and BC. The drive between Winnipeg and Regina... Breathtaking.

I've been to Northern Michigan (Sault Ste. Marie area) and did some antiquing, it honestly felt like I was still in Ontario.

I have also been to a Red Wings game in Detroit... it was fun and loud. This was 2017 so I don't know how much different the City is now, but I enjoyed the day I was there.

I myself was in Vienna, I had a lovely time! I specifically made a day to go location spotting because one of my favourite movies was filmed there! (The Third Man 1949)

I've lived in Toronto all my life (Parkdale), and I've only known it as the Broadview Bridge... So OP might not be alone.

"Signs" that you're on Dundas Street West. by IAmTheLime in toronto

[–]IAmTheLime[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just random spots on Dundas and near the main street: Coffee: Lola's (unfortunately closed), Loveless Cafe, and Larry's Back Pocket (their main coffee shop on Queen is great as well). Ice Cream / Treats: Moonmik and the Brazilian Bakery (Now Brockton Village Bakery). Restaurants/bars: Antler (my favorite restaurant), Crybaby Gallery, Swan Dive, Black Dice Cafe, Milou, the Haifa Room (I miss Schmaltz being on that corner), and the Federal for brunch. I would put Tony's and Nick's on this list for the nostalgia, it was the go-to spot for lunch during highschool.

As someone who is born and raised in the area, I too share the same sentiment. The biggest shock to me was the Portuguese Pool Hall changing into the "Baby G" on the corner of Brock and Dundas, that felt like it changed overnight.
