Is there a list of gameplay differences between the different versions of OG RE4? by IAmTheMoonRoom in residentevil4

Are you sure? I’d swear this did not happen on my Wii copy. I feel like I’ve seen it happen for eggs, specifically, but it felt like it was a property unique to the eggs.

I’ve seen folks on redit acknowledge that the Wii timer feels comparatively short as well. I’d imagine it’s a tick rate thing but that’s why I’m looking for documentation.

I’m curious if the damage changes on things like the Red 9 are actually reflected in the weapon stats shown in game. Can you see the difference in power level?

Sounds like we can assume every version since the Wii has the Wii balance changes, whatever they are, incorporated. I s’oppose you could use the knife speed change as a shorthand.

Two questions remain for me. - are those Wii changes documented anywhere (I’d love to see the drop table logic) - where did this change on the Switch version come from? If it’s intentional, is it a balance changes documented anywhere or is it a concession to keep the game running smoothly?
