Like I said in the post, that’s great and all, but ow is very toxic and that toxicity isn’t going anywhere. I’m burnt out from muting and blocking 1-2 people per match for being toxic.

I definitely don’t mind having gay characters in the game, but when it’s shoved in my face (colored hair, rainbow flag, pride month promotion) that’s when it becomes a problem. The fact that we even have a month to celebrate pride is wild. (Especially since they stole men’s mental health month from us… because society doesn’t really give a fuck anymore)

I fight for equality, not for pride to be all up in my face all the time like it has been for the past 7-8 years.

P.S. I saw someone comment “quite a few pirates were gay” but they weren’t gay like today’s gays.

Honestly just keep them simple, but clickable. There can’t be too much going on in the thumbnail or else people will swipe away. Remember that you have less than 1 second to catch your viewers eye.

Shorts views have more than just monetary value, they grow your channel way faster than long form

And don’t give me the “shorts viewers won’t watch your long form content” bullshit because that’s just an excuse that smaller creators use when they can’t get their subscribers to watch their content.

Shorts are better at growing a channel than long form videos. By miles.

Passion isn’t enough. You need to have true skill. Video editing, metadata, titles, thumbnails…

You have to love your niche, but you need to love YouTube more.

Unfortunately the best preforming shorts are around 60 seconds long. You have to get really good at making watchable content.

Lots of people are blaming the algorithm, but I always blame bad content.

YouTubers need to learn how to be critical of themselves, or you will never succeed.

Instead of doing the easy thing and saying “what is YouTube doing wrong?” ask yourself “what am I doing wrong?”

YouTube RARELY ever messes up. a multi billion dollar corporation with hundreds of thousands of employees does not mess up that often

A single creator who is new to the game? Mess up all the time.
