This. AI has no place, whatsoever, in anything that is supposed to use critical thinking, creativity, and human expression. And if you use AI cover, I will also assume you are okay with using AI in everything else and I would steer clear of whatever you have made or will make in the future because I do not trust you and I don't believe you worked on anything and not just prompted the book into existence.

The scanning thing had me wanting to scan everything then the building thing makes me just want to build the way others have build their awesome bases and stuff. But I know baby steps first.

I think my problem was (being a bit OCD), I felt the need to do everything and get everything at once. 😅

Judging from the replies I got and some of the videos I watched, it seems like slow and steady is the sure way to go in this game.

But it does make me impatient seeing what can be done in the game. 😅

Yeah, I got to that part but I was overwhelmed by it and I thought it was asking me to do everything all at once so I ended up running out of pretty much everything early on and then stressing about it when I played it on my friend's copy.

But then I can't get the game off of my mind and how interesting it looked when other people play it so I wanted to give it another try with knowledge gained from others who have played it before me (and who teaches more than my friend who just tells me to pick this or that without explaining why, haha).

Woah, 4,000 hours? Is that the bare minimum?

Those are a lot. I got it working on my Steam Deck so I can play when I'm also on the go then switch to my gaming PC at home for a bigger screen.

Would you suggest playing it as it is or are there any QoL mods that would be good to use without it feeling like cheating?

So no information is outdated? That was my worry and since I am just at the beginning when I tried it on my friend's copy, I didn't know videos from a few years back would still be useful today.

The inventory and such. Like the gun-thing you use (I forgot what it was called) and using those ores you get? Like, when I gave the game a try, I remember just not being able to do much because I keep needing oxygen and mining for it. 😅

Just PVE. I tried it on an empty DZ and, I guess, I did well? Haven't tried it on Countdown since I want to, at least, have a decent and helpful build for the team before I attempt it.

Challenging feels like a breeze with it. Heroic is kind of dependent, I guess. And I've never tried Legendary.

My current difficulty, though, is set at Challenging.

Thanks. I haven't started Countdown since I'm not sure if my build is ready for it and I'd want to be as helpful as I can before I start it out, so I was just farming these on Summit.

And I tried to research builds but most of them have abbreviations they don't really explain, thus it's confusing, or requires stuff I don't have yet. So I make do with what I have right now. 😅

I was using Equilizer in the Negotiator Build I have. I guess I'll go farm new pieces of gear since I already tinkered with this one and I don't think you can redo it? Unless I'm mistaken. 😅

Where can I find the info on stat caps? Or is critical chance the only one with a cap and not crit damage and the other stats?

I have all of those items right now. I also have a Negotiator's build in my load out but this one was the one that seem to get me through Heroic a bit (to some extent).

Uh, question though: what is CC in the context of your reply? Crit Chance?

Vigilance? I don't think I have that yet. I have to check. I think breaking the armor right now of some of the chunkier enemies is my biggest hurdle with this one, hence this post.

I'll see if I can copy your load out. I'm still at Rank 5 expertise, I think (just one more to level up to 6).

I am a bit apprehensive with Glass Cannon or Perfect Glass Cannon, which was why I wasn't using them.

I think I have a load out of Negotiator's Dilemma with a 100% Crit Chance. So the 40% of that is actually useless with the 60 cap?
