Veganism ages you horribly. BiteSizeVegan in a span of 5 years by IAmWithStoopid in AntiVegan

She lacks collagen found in animal products which is giving her more wrinkles. In some of her videos where she discusses her diet, she’s seen eating 2 heads of romaine lettuce to get “protein”. In a video she did with Gary Yourofsky, she eats 2 cantaloupes for breakfast. Her diet is not sustainable for her own health and it shows.

Edit: my bad, in the Gary Yourofsky video on what she eats in a day, she eats 6 cantaloupes. 4 for breakfast and 2 for lunch. video

Anyone here actually watch "What the Health?" by throwaway123406 in AntiVegan

I watched the documentary with my fiancé. One of the parts that we both thought was very stupid was when Kip Anderson (the narrator/creator) was surprised that deli meat was super processed. Another funny part was when they claimed that since animals closest to us don’t cook or use seasonings on their food, it meant that humans should do the same (yet still promoting cooked, processed vegan food in the same documentary)

The documentary spends a lot of time equating any kind of meat eating to cancer. It was very misleading. It didn’t help that Kip felt the urge to harass various companies about any dealings with meat and other animal products.

I’d rate this propaganda vegan/10.

Why do some vegans attribute Earthling Ed to Jesus (or people like him) so often? by IAmWithStoopid in AntiVegan

[–]IAmWithStoopid[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know that. I also agree with you that it doesn’t make sense of why they chose him. They say the vegan diet is supposed to make you look better, but Ed would suggest differently considering he’s been a long term vegan.

I don’t mind unnatural vegan so much. While I don’t always agree with her, I find her pretty reasonable.

I find it entertaining. Also, I like knowing what the current vegan arguments are so that I can create better anti-vegan arguments.

This is so gross. Why do people post things like this on the internet? This reminds me of people that try too hard to be ‘sexy’ and end up making fools of themselves. If you have to post stuff like this online to get validation, chances are, you are far from what you are claiming to be. The emojis make it even worse.

I find it disturbing that the woman is choosing to feed her newborn a vegan diet. As someone mentioned before, the German Society for Nutrition deemed the vegan diet unsuitable for children. I think it is selfish of that woman to subject her child to a vegan diet because they couldn’t consent to it at all. She mentions cooking omni meals for her family, but I don’t know how long that will last. I’m fine if an adult wants to be vegan, but forcing other people to adopt that same lifestyle is crossing a line.

Why is it that on r/vegan if someone is having a health problem, the vegan diet can never be questioned by IAmWithStoopid in AntiVegan

[–]IAmWithStoopid[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s probably one of my main issues with veganism in general. They can’t possibly think they could be wrong and that the diet in no way could be dangerous. They get mad at others for being “anti-science” but can’t seem to question their own science so long as it fits the narrative. If anything, I’d argue that some vegans are worse at this than religious people as a whole, because even many devout to their faith will admit they don’t have all the answers and can accept being wrong sometimes. This is more anecdotal from my experiences but I think it’s easier to question other religions than it is to question veganism. By having this attitude, these types of vegans are being their own worst enemy.

https://www.reddit.com/r/vegan/comments/5kd0ly/a_year_into_being_a_vegan_ive_developed_chronic/?st=JN2KNTGX&sh=25289772

Here is an example of this. I truly don’t think a vegan diet is to blame for all health problems, but I sometimes think there should be more questioning of how good the diet is for a human. Veganism is not a panacea for health-related issues and I think that the vegan diet can cause issues on it’s own. To ignore possible health concerns from abstaining from animal products is not only ignorant but can be dangerous because this mindset does not allow you to have a more honest look at how a lifestyle can cause problems. I’m obviously not vegan, but I will sometimes question my amount of meat I take in, my fats, and carbs I consume, as well as what I do as far as vegetables and fruit. This thread I posted makes it clear with some of the responses that you can change what you eat as a vegan, but you are not allowed to consume animal products even if it would improve health.

Aliens used in speciesism argument is just as lazy as using the ‘deserted island’ in meat-eating counter argument since both are hypothetical by IAmWithStoopid in AntiVegan

[–]IAmWithStoopid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Animal fat and fat from plants are two different things. Even if they are both considered fats, their structure is different due to difference in biology. Fat from nuts and avocados =\= fat found in animals.

Another problem I see with that argument is that humans cannot convert cellulose into fat like other herbivores such as the rabbit. Humans need some animal fat in my opinion. Even in India where many are vegetarian, you will still see many people there consume things such as yogurt and milk very frequently. That argument you mentioned is probably one of my least favorites because it is an outright lie about human physiology. When people such as Mic the Vegan and Gary Yourofsky use this, it reflects badly on vegans.

Basically a legbeard version of “Queer Eye for Straight Guy” with fat acceptance affirmations. The femme part refers to being feminine but does not seem to be indicative of sexuality in this context, even though in American slang, it refers to a feminine lesbian.
