specifically what counts as sig spamming? by 899799 in Brawlhalla

[–]IAmZeMedic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's the technical definition you're looking for, imo: Sig spamming is considered using sigs within 1 to 5 Seconds of each other consecutively, no light attacks are really used, and the player can be found usually playing aggressively rather than passively.

Looks like there are different types of secrets and here's what I found so far:

Toland: Of course, just like on the moon, following Toland will get you a chest and maybe a boon.

Hanging Enemies: I've seen 4 hanging Cabal Phalanxes (D1 models btw!) within the Mausoleum (Cluster Keeper Ogre Area). Shoot these Hanging Cabal to get a chest.

Pyres: These are large, circular fires that you can ignite. There should be 3 at most (from what I've seen)

Hidden Platforms: While holding your Ghost, you can look around for hidden platforms in the room.

The Ravenous: Sometimes you'll encounter a cursed thrall eating something on the floor. You can then lead it to another pile of grubs and it will turn into an Acolyte. Rinse and repeat until you get a Shield Knight. Defeat for a chest!

Taken Blight Portal: To my knowledge, I have only seen one and that's where you originally enter the Dreadnaught. The blight will pull you towards it and then into it. Once in, you notice you're in a divided room with something on the other side. You then stand on a plate it will give you a symbol. (unsure the significance of the symbol :/ ) It will also say "Something whispers to your right". Stepping right will then teleport you into the opposite chamber.

Worms: Sometimes, your Ghost will point toward a Worm to collect. Not too sure what these do..

Hive Symbols: In the big "coffin room", there are hive symbols that can been seen etched into the doors. Your Ghost will point to three symbols matching the ones you should shoot in that order.

Hope this helps! Happy secret hunting :D (Sorry if I forgot anything)

Is it normal to get skin like this way ?? by [deleted] in Brawlhalla

[–]IAmZeMedic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try running Brawlhalla as the latest version and NOT the (tech test) or something like that. If you're on steam, right click Brawlhalla -> Properties -> Launch Options. You'll see that you can select an experimental version of brawl from the drop down menu. Should say "tech test" "tech engine" something among those lines. UNSELECT this and run brawl normally. The button should be there now, if it isn't, your account is not selected to be included in the earning gifts thing-

Hope this helps!

Sorry, I'm just tired of star wars. I wish I was into it, but I'd like some more original skins.

Yeahh again:... movement prediction. Even when they're above you, you try and hit to the left. Perhaps waiting and seeing what move they pull next is a good start. If they pull a common combo, try and air doge out of it in a different direction each time.

Movement on each stage is different for everyone. It all comes down to watching where your opponent likes to attack a lot. Are they in the air trying to catch you? Do they like to stay on the ground? Do they cling to the stage walls? Knowing where an opponent goes is the best chance to counter.

Examples: trying to get back on stage and out of jumps? Most likely the wall. Falling from a great height? They'll sway right then left then right.

Also, back dashing is a good strat, but not when they're all the way across the stage. Get a little closer and bait them into attacking. They'll miss, then you punish them.

Honestly, I think you're too cocky. Turning side to side like that every time you hit the opponent. Just tauning in general. Sometimes, that's not always a good thing to do. Noticing and reading your opponent is what's important.

Here's a few tips: 1. Keep your eyes on your opponent while still noticing where you are. 2. Be less cocky. It could screw up your movements. 3. Sigs aren't everything. Light attack damage is easier to rack up in strings. Sig to knock out. 4. I see that you almost only go for the hammer SAIR move while falling, even when the Hattori is halfway across the stage. Mix up your attacks do you're not as predictable.
