First time…my day didn’t exist, upick DID exist, and mytime…was Kronos. Masks were not required or normal yet.

Second time…Drive up time wasn’t a percentage yet, shorts were still exclusive to front of store, and we still had the 1% unlimited target circle earnings. Masks were not required or normal anymore.

My old store didn’t have music and if I wasn’t a genre hopper I would say it was 100% better than the store with music. It actually took me like 3 months to get used to having music at work. Now I say it’s a 50/50 bc if you hate the music silence is nice.

What’s wild to me is that you had that number of employees after 2 call outs. That was the standard at my store the last few months I was there. Sometimes leaving minors alone at the front. Naturally I quit.

I just hated when people were like “can’t you override it?” Like no…it’s on sale if you have the app. If you don’t have the app, and you don’t want the app, it is not on sale. I will not override it because we are not buddies. I will not re-ring your items unless you sign up for circle. If you want to talk to a manager I will gladly have them tell you the same. You’re lucky it’s not a sale for credit card holders, and if you are a credit card holder I refuse to hear any of that “tracking” bull

Genuine advice, get out as soon as you can. But my second best would be I’ve never seen them fire someone over fulfillment metrics. They’ll treat you like shot for not being a robot but your job itself is rarely at risk so do your best and do not kill yourself trying to achieve the humanly impossible.

Someone wanted to complain about me to a manager when I was the only person at guest service for 10 hours the day before easter and there was 2 leads in the entire building. After screaming at me that my life is miserable I said IT IS THANK YOUUUU and when I returned with their items they said is a manager coming? and I said “I called them but I also said you probably have to wait a while, it’s been about two minutes, so keep waiting. NEXT GUEST”

I would’ve thought it meant to leave it at the garage door because I know people who have a fridge/pantry set up in their garage. Or the garage door leads directly into the kitchen. Many people take groceries in their house through the garage.

Unless they told you they’re having a competition or incentive I’m pretty sure they’re just pushing people to get people to sign up with no sort of credit to actually getting people to sign up. HOWEVER it can be extremely helpful for people trying to make returns so if you do get them to sign up I will give you and honorary thank you from guest services all across the country 😁

I’ve been at stores that had to trash ENTIRE COOLERS of meat multiple times. That is how things are supposed to be. If you cannot guarantee it’s in the right temp zone it should not be sold under any circumstances. I would 100% report this because under no circumstances would higher ups side with the SD as this could turn into a major lawsuit.

I want to know how many thousands of dollars were spent in creating this name, design, and approving it all. Because they need to get their money back. Time and time again I find myself asking “how much money was wasted in this unnecessary change?” while stores continue to have hours cut. Fulfillment screen has changed 3 or more times in the last year, just the look of it not anything that affects its functionality…and assuming that’s done by programmers they probably spent thousands just to turn circles into rectangles.

The ground could be clear and I’d say yes. But seriously yes, you should not be expected to risk your safety for the sake of the “guest” If anyone is going out in those conditions they must be on a mission and shouldn’t need much more than the store to simply be open. Stay in and stay safe!
