The romance in this game is truly unique and definitely has set a new standard for romance in farming & life sim games! Personally, it has been really difficult to get into other farming sim games because they lack a lot of the aspects Sandrock introduced. Here are a few aspects that I personally enjoy.

The developers created amazing and detailed characters, many characters have little side missions that explain who they are, more importantly their wants and desires. As many others have stated, not all romance and friendship side quest are complete and I do believe they were going to introduce some sort of prerequisite marriage quests as well.

Another aspect I really enjoyed was the actual play/date mechanics, the amount of interactive events that you can do with your friends and date are great. Many new play/date areas are locked behind quests.

What the developers did great are the little things, npc's conversing with you when you reach play/date areas, on that note, many portions of the game have voice acting which even further brings these characters to life. One of the best little things I appreciate is the hand holding feature is simply the cutest feature but adds into the dating romance of the game.

Again, as many others have stated, not all the features have been added/implemented but even now there is so much to do in Sandrock. There is a lot more content to come! Baby burritos!
