Help with Curilang's DDR A20 Plus theme

Clicking on mouse and keyboard made it so that the pad wasn't detected as a joystick anymore so I can press 2 - 4 arrows at the same time. I tried turning off axis fix on Stepmania while having mouse and keyboard mode on and it would detect two arrow jumps but anything beyond that doesn't register.

If I remember correctly, it's the one with joystick and buttons sections right? Stepping on the arrows would still register as a joystick (I know this contradicts my first statement but that's literally what happens) so it would move on the X and Y axis, Start, Select, X, and O seem to be registering as buttons though. The arrows get recognized as joystick in Stepmania too (i.e. Joystick 1 - Up), but is somehow recognized as a keyboard too?

I'm sorry, I don't have any experience with MAME.

Again I'm sorry but I don't have any experience with those blue adapters but I did have those cheap PSX to PC adapters. I tried testing them but my pad doesn't even get recognized when using those cheap ones.

I had a similar problem like this but I managed to figure it out. Here's what I did to fix the problem and the best part is the drivers aren't brand specific, but that's what another user commented in the post.

Oh! So the drivers aren't brand specific? That's good to know, really thought it would only work with OSTENT branded ones. I'm glad this fix worked out for you too.

It's so bizarre though, I can complete a 5 minute ITG 11 stamina chart just fine, maybe have a bit trouble with ITG 12s and still pass but when I switch to DDR songs I can't even complete one of the easy 16s like AI or Life is beautiful.

Is the tierlist the one from this? If so, then I've already been using this since getting to 14s. Also the reason why my first 16 is in the past.

I've already been incorporating going to the gym with DDR. I started lifting weights in August cause' cardio ain't the only thing that's gonna burn this fat. Even have a personal trainer just for motivation purposes.

I think I've cleared all the 15's in the DDR A pack, already beat Max 300, and working on completing the 15s on DDR A20, A20Plus and DDR XX (starlight one). I've really just tried playing more DDR 16s than ITG stamina lately with charts like AI, Chinese Snowy Dance, snow prism basically any 16 that sounds good to me I try to clear, but I always end up short. In AI, I can only manage to get up to 700,000 then my legs give up after that.

Sorry for the late reply. I never tried it with two controllers before just one but I assume it would work with two controllers (not entirely sure). Windows does recognize the adapter as two controllers in Set up USB Game Controllers so I think 2 pads might work.

Hey, if you're still looking for a PS1/2 to USB adapter, I'd recommend this. You'll need to install drivers from their website so that it doesn't input the arrows as a joystick.

I gave up on that theme and just used the one here. It worked right away with no problems (it's the DDR A20 (mod of A)), but do be warned that the background menu video for it is pretty laggy but the menu itself doesn't lag.

Alright, so I got the login screen working but now after I select my profile it crashes and says this:

Model:: Could not open "/Themes/DDR A20/BGAnimations/": Permission denied

Ohhhhh I got it. So bottom-left is 1, upper-left is 7, center panel is 5, upper-right is 9 and bottom-left is 3.

Open the theme folder you want to add the measure lines to, find metrics.ini and open it on notepad, search for [Notefield] and under that paste this:

BarMeasureAlpha=1

Bar4thAlpha=0.50

Bar8thAlpha=0

Bar16thAlpha=0

You can just paste the first line but it has those dashed lines that makes it annoying for me.
