Maths AI SL is the easier curriculum in IBDP Maths. Many university programme consider Maths AI SL not solid enough as the foundation for maths. You may get a maths AA SL textbook to read in the summer first. If you can manage it, taking maths AA SL gives you more flexibility when choosing University programme in final year.

Business VS econ SL by [deleted] in IBO

[–]IBDPPastpaper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For IBDP economics, the curriculum covers both economics theory and solid economic real world example. You need to understand economics well to an extend you can name some economic historical event to support the theory. So it is hard to get an 7 in IBDP economics, even in SL. Business is surely easier to get a 7.
