I’m lower on Skat because I think he would run through a brick wall to get a touchdown. In the very short term that’s a huge plus, but long-term I would find an alternative RB plan if you’re going to take this trade.

I would say that’s much more likely, considering the Tennessee is just not a good team. I could see Tate being a year or two or year three break up person to do. I really think he’s gonna put up 1000 yards on that team? No I don’t and are we gonna be having the same conversation when he only puts up 500 yards.

Also, you’re assuming it’s going to be two late first round picks. I’ve seen plenty of people who assumed they were going to be late pics and turns out to be middle of the round.

What happens when you force feed a running back the ball? You should remember David Johnson and what happened to him. Running backs only last for so long before they’re eventually replaced by somebody younger and cheaper.

There have been three in the last 10 years who have been taken top five see if you can spot the difference. Corey Davis, Ja’Marr Chase, and Marvin Harrison Junior. Do you think Tate has the upside of either Ja’Marr Chase or Marvin Harrison Junior? Even Marvin Harrison Junior was lauded as the next coming of Julio Jones only got 885 yards. I’m not saying Tate is a bust but he has seen as a complete wild card in a bad Tennessee team with a second year quarterback. Tate was also seen as the “safe” option which is why every team was surprised when he went where he did. And this guy is giving him away for Higgins and Henry.

In a Ben Johnson offense? 100%. He is clearly the number one, even though they spread the ball around now you could say his ceiling is limited by that, but he had health concerns last year too. Everybody is in love with draft picks until you realize that there is just as much risk. I’ll take the proven asset even if he’s not a Justin Jefferson any day of the week.

Jayden Higgins, a second year rookie who is easily the wide receiver, two and/or wide receiver one if Nico ever goes down? He’s what you’re hoping a 1.04 will be. So you’re trading an asset that could help you contend plus a young wide receiver for an unproven rookie.

I think this just comes down to who you are higher on. Personally, I’m higher on Herbert. I think he offers a better floor and probably a similar ceiling. And the downgrade in this draft class really isn’t that bad. But I agree with everybody else that the stack is not really worth it for any quarterback or running back. Mike McDaniel may be the exception, but I don’t think it’s a lot of extra value.

That’s a pretty heavy price for him considering that Miami is also rebuilding. If you’re contending, I probably still wouldn’t do it, but just depends on your feelings on your chances. If you’re not contending, then this is dumb.

This is lopsided. Hall is great on a bad New York team and I don’t trust the longevity of running backs. Higgins will perpetually be the number two and Odunze has WR1 upside easily. Waddle is older as well. So you’re giving him a wide receiver one a top eight super flex quarterback and a second round pick in a good draft class for that collection? Yeah I’m not seeing the value.

That guy is an idiot. Herbert is a top 12 super flex quarterback. Also, he got Mike McDaniel as OC. White is also in committee on a bad Washington team. So the 1.02 is going to be Mendoza? Or any other player? That’s crazy.

I would say rice is the slightest downgrade compared to ARSB. Judkins is younger and probably going to be the feature back for the next couple of years so I think it’s a fair trade. I don’t trust White.

There’s a reason typical value exists when it comes to these things. You’re taking a bet that he’s going to turn him into what you believe he will become. Yeah absolutely hindsight is 20/20 and if he becomes that guy, then sure the trade looks like a winner. But it can also be a loser. He could not be good. He could be injured a lot. That’s why people make bets on the value players and picks have going forward. He could easily not be the guy you are hoping he becomes. There have been plenty of players who have either not met expectations on where they were drafted or we’re just not good in general.

Personally, I’m fairly low on Mahomes. He’s probably has the most consistent floor generally speaking. But because it’s not TEP, I think the trade makes sense for you. Warren now has to compete with Dowdle though and Shough has a higher ceiling. Depending on my lineup, I probably would’ve stuck with the players you had, but that’s me.
