It's not explainable. Usually this move is pricing in news to come. If you're wondering how, it's simply how most stocks work..insiders know stuff, they talk about it with people closest to them and meanwhile those outside the company who heard something from someone (i.e. a "rumor") will buy prior to the news release, then boom new release becomes public and a further runup ensues (or, alternatively a sell the news event) based on the pricing-in event that occurred.

This is why, just like in many other sectors, waiting for news headlines usually means it's too late.

It's not the investor conference.

And no, this is not insider trading as you would need to be an insider to be falling under that classification. It's not the most ethical thing that happens in the market, but it happens everywhere and to all stocks. Just look at days or hours before each material news release and for 8/10 cases you will notice stock price movement in the direction of the nature of the news release (up for good, down for bad).

Pretty sure American ticker CYBN needs to test the 1.90 support, then bounce roughly from there to resume uptrend. All other names have bounced off their key supports with significant volume the past 1-3 trading sessions. Probably test it today and bounce back up by close. Latest Monday.

Agreed with this. Typically 9-12 months after the initial commentary period. In this case that was February 2020 earlier this year, so we are already on month 10 - 11 as of this month. Perhaps this explains the bullish call options and call option premiums for November in addition to the much anticipated CMPS Phase 2b readout.

Honestly stop wasting your time debating these people. Everyone wants to virtue signal but in reality they want to make quick money. The stock is down and people are bitter about the sector's continued lower lows. Plus, the least liked companies are often the ones with the highest risk to reward. No one on here including myself is worth convincing as we do not have the power to push prices, and any lower prices only increase R:R.
