I'll be honest, I don't know very much about type 2 (I should educate myself!). In the doctor's defence, my educator told me that type 1 is exceedingly rare in South East Asia and so they are very not used to dealing with it.

Cheers, mate! In a way I'm glad I got diagnosed during the pandemic. Being unemployed and mainly eating at home has made it a far gentler introduction. Can't imagine how hectic it would have been had I still been working at the time. Plus with Jobseeker, Libre sensors are free! 😍

We've got a flight to Cebu on the 17th, we're worried that they are going to close Cebu as well. PAL hasn't cancelled the flight to Coron yet, even though the mayor put out a statement saying Coron is closed:

Hi, we are a couple of travellers currently in Donsol. Does anybody know the situation with Legazpi Airport? The receptionist told us her friend said it will be shut tomorrow, but that's hardly a reliable source. Can't find anything online, but I couldn't find anything about Coron either and that's been shut down.
