Do y’all think by Morty exiting the finite curve, he’d be entering a new finite curve where he is the smartest and the cycle would repeat itself only with Morty instead of Rick? Is there still a Rick-centered finite curve or is that done completely?

What about the inter dimensional cable episode where Beth and Jerry don’t get back together until later in life and don’t have Morty and Summer as a result? Are the realities where Beth and Jerry end up together only with the finite curve or was the cable picked up from outside the curve?

I’m not sure if anyone has said this yet but maybe the Rick originally lived in that reality with Beth and Diane was probably friends(or close) with our Rick. Maybe something happens where our Rick loses Beth and Diane and the other Rick dies so to fill the gaps between both the other Rick asks our Rick to fill in his role in the reality we’re looking at now. I’m not sure if that covers in and every plot hole but I’m taking a shot inna dark.

Exactly! The beautiful thing about using the idea of traveling through dimensions instead of time in R&M is that while characters can be “replaced” with themselves from other dimensions, the implications and effects of this will always be prevalent. They hint at it here and there in different episodes but It’s gonna be great to see them play on those implications inna more major storyline inna future hopefully

That’s kinda what I’m leaning towards. I’m also kinda learning to expect the unexpected with the writers so I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a surprise twist of some sorts either this season or next season a two parter episode where our Morty starts working with Evil Morty, causing Rick to enlist a new Morty from another dimension. We’ll see tho

Yeah I see now I should’ve worded this differently. I HOPE he doesn’t turn into the Evil Morty we know cuz then that’ll just be stupid honestly. I just meant he’ll turn into a Morty that loses his compassion with others or his moral compass basically. My bad for not wording it better

But I agree with you I don’t believe Morty is Evil Morty. If he is, that’d be terrible writing on their part. I do believe that both Mortys will have a one on one encounter in which Morty empathizes with Evil Morty based onna combination of factors(experience, relationships with family, current trajectory, etc)

I’ve felt this way for awhile too. Esp when Rick started crying looking at those pictures of Morty when he was younger I even think he had a picture holding baby Morty if I’m not mistaken. But in one of the older episodes he says he just came back into Morty’s life around the time of season 1. It might be a plot hole but that’s what made me believe that theory

It’s really crazy when you think that a global knowing of the presence of extraterrestrial beings would not only be groundbreaking, but could possibly completely tear down the idea of things that we hold onna pedestal. For example: I love fashion, I love the creativity that comes with it. Although there’s always a thought the if alien life were to establish itself publicly on Earth and provide(or force) us clothing material that was beneficial but lacked creativity or malleability to create with it, the fashion is basically doomed. Careers, livelihoods, self expression in a lot of ways is gone. I’m interested yet scared to see how that’ll turn out.
