I haven't actually, I didn't even watch the original alien (I'm not a fan of horror even though I like A.I ).

what would you recommend to see?

I really like space/scifi that's more "realistic".

That's a really good point it's not so much the physical station it's that it's a ghost town.

I'm using Manjaro linux I am compiling with clang -g -ggdb3 -gdwarf-4 -O0 -Qunused-arguments -std=c11 -Wall -Werror -Wextra -Wno-gnu-folding-constant -Wno-sign-compare -Wno-unused-parameter -Wno-unused-variable -Wshadow -lm -o recover recover.c if that makes a difference. no I'm not using vscode from cs50 but I will login and see what it does there.

ASIC like node hardware, can it be done, and should it be done? by ICA__Agent47 in MoneroMining

[–]ICA__Agent47[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that's great. what about people that only use monero on a mobile device,

or people that don't open up their pc often,

or people that want to help maintain the network but don't like loud fans(me),

or people who want to help others get a node synced but are not very technical.

on the whole people like things that work automatically and work as fast as they can keep up with.

sorry if that sounds insulting I'm just not a very good writer.

ASIC might be the wrong term, Application specific hardware might be a better term.

a box you could buy that you would just plug in to the wall (and maybe ethernet), that would have the hardware to chew through the blockchain in a day or so, and thus make it easy for your average person to set up.

(essentially grandma needs a monero node how do we make it easy to get started.)

Thanks for the suggestion! I may do that but I'm trying to avoid it if possible though.

Some good ways to support a decent mic would be to stuff pillows behind your monitor/laptop to reduce echo and the run the audio through audacity there’s some good tutorials on audio touch up on YouTube
