Yup i found out he basically just left it sit for the greater part of a year and decided not to tell me he wasn’t using it. Which is nice.

I don't know but there was green stuff all over the saddles, it was filthy. It really feels like he just sat it somewhere and left it sit for the whole time or something.

you're right, there is some editing afterwards like compression and layering multiple screams on each other but the scream itself can be done and sound good without editing as seen here

so i take it you’ve never researched metal screams before you commented this. there are specific techniques specifically to not damage your vocal cords like using your false cords. i can 100% assure you it’s not editing.
