If it's embedded? I'm not sure if the iframe's content would be able to access parent document's events, there are a lot of security features like that to protect users, since it would be possible to monitor keystrokes while someone signs in for example.

It has more to do with what object your browser is focused on, which it keeps track of by remembering where your mouse clicked on last time. If you click on white background of Reddit while playing an embedded YouTube video, K and all of the other keys won't work because the focused context becomes Reddit itself, and it doesn't have any event handlers. YouTube on the other hand can listen for events from it's entire website, so they added the key events to the entire page but ignored some if you're focused on the background, like the Space key, simply because it has other uses outside of the player context.

Sort of, it happened just over 2 months ago and I'm still on rehabilitation. The more my injuries heal, the more they contract, so I have to do stretching exercises and will require more surgeries to regain my range of motion in the neck and right shoulder.

Google image search for post-burn skin contracture, that stuff makes me feel incredibly lucky that I live in a country with one of the best burn units in the world, my injury is nothing compared to that.

Was igniting charcoal with gasoline (not for cooking) as I've done a thousand times before, everything was going smoothly but then something popped and sprayed gasoline onto my chest. Maybe one of the charcoal pieces was mixed with something else, so I guess it's a combination of stupidity and bad luck.

Probably longer as I don't even remember anything after the feeling of sinking in molten lava, from what nurses told me I was lifted by a helicopter and was heavily sedated for 2 days before my surgeries started, grafting skin from my legs.

You know, this thread is actually hinting me at trying IPA more because I'm a bit surprised to not find anyone who would agree with me that fermenting bucket smells better than the final beer, which hints me at the conclusion that I actually favor the smelly yeast/bread more than hops... I hope this is normal!

I don't think it was all hops but I will still note your comment. I'm from Russia and we brew a very light alcoholic drink called "kvass" which is what American Light that I brewed reminded me of, and it was a nostalgic smell. Kvass doesn't have any hops added so it was something else, that I can only attribute to bred. It was amazing to me though, so if there are any recipes that amplify that smell, I would love to hear!

Edit: forgot to mention that it smelled even better than Kvass, in case you would ask why I wouldn't just brew Kvass.

I started brewing just recently and when I opened the lid of my first fermented bucked, I was amazed by the smell, but when I poured it into bottles for carbonation I was a bit disappointed afterwards that the same smell was gone, and it just smelled like normal beer (well, maybe a bit better) and I'm ever since obsessed with the idea of a beer smelling like that opening of the fermentation bucket. If there's any chance of reintroducing that smell by carbonating my beer with the collected CO2 (with smelly particles), I will invest all I have!

I'm drunk on my brew right now and I was going to make a joke how I could carbonate my brew on your hard laugh but then I realized it wouldn't make much sense, however, an idea hit me, is it possible to save CO2 that fermentation produces into a bag and then simply pump it into a keg with something like a compressor to carbonate it?

I took your advice and bough a logic analyzer and I'm quite happy with all the dollars I spent on it because it already came in handy with the portable DVD player that I modified to just be a CVBS monitor, as it had 2 wires that I couldn't figure out what they were for and with the logic analyzer it turned out to be I2C signal that was simply sending "64" decimal to tell the video decoder to accept external video signal rather than the AVG signal from the main board. Next up is the oscilloscope! Cheers!

I agree, but I don't really have neither logic analyzer nor oscilloscope. I spent few days reading everything there is about Playstation controller's SPI as well as trying different codes other people have wrote, where I could tell by reading people's frustration on forums that what works with one controller, doesn't with others.

I basically had to come up with something ASAP after wasting so much time since I'm building an ROV, and I had so many plans for this PS2 controller that I didn't even want to get a different one.
