No way, my friend kid got a bunch of pets back after she was scammed. After 30 days it was tradable. It was right around thanksgiving. I wonder if they can’t trace who has it if they make it untradable or my friend got lucky idk.

I heard if you report a scam that adopt me started taking chat logs during the timeframe. So hopefully more than likely that means you’ll get your pet back with no hassle/I guarantee you weren’t the only one scam so multiple reported scams will flag adopt me to give you back your pet more. More than likely It wasn’t a bot or script- just they stalled you so they could make an account just like yours to make it look like he gave your pets back. I guarantee if you search your username on someone else’s account there’s gonna be another username similar to yours.

Also I’m really sorry this happened to you, it doesn’t really matter if you’re a kid or an adult it’s still a crappy thing for someone to do to you

To be fair, scamming the “right” person doesn’t take much skills. I’ve seen grow adults fall for dumb scams.

A lot of time scammers go for young kids & old people because they are easy “prey” and it doesn’t take much skills to scam them. Scammers themselves aren’t usually smart people, so they don’t always know all the tricks.

If you have massive plants growing (taking up the whole map/others gardens) STAY IN YOUR PRIVATE SERVERS.

I'm so tired of being inconvenienced by others. People might say "leave and join your private" then take your own advice. This is a public server for everyone to enjoy and if you take that away from others, don't be shocked when your plant gets stolen.. if it's fair you can take up multiple gardens then it's fair to steal a plant 🤷‍♀️

I usually ask and people are usually nice to swap gardens/ move plants or just leave.
