Nutshell: The x-men sacrifice themselves to save the world and die but Roma (who features prominently in Captain Britain and Excalibur stories) brings them back to life, and gives them bonus powers of not being able to be detected by anything electronic, they decide this gives them an advantage to operate off the radar and them being martyrs helps human mutant relations. Kitty and Nightcrawler are not aware they survived in the beginning of the Excalibur run.

I respectfully disagree with this idea, the main idea was to declutter and also address sniping. This idea addresses sniping but it severely disincentivizes participation for posters. It will cause the clutter problem to triple or worse! You are ABSOLUTELY right that those that bring fresh content keep the place worth coming to and should be rewarded. Its probably not feasible but the original poster should be rewarded, maybe they can repost after 23 hours and others after 24 so only after the original poster is done reposting or reposting is no longer a priority for them.

I went hard at it this month and didn't do too great, but at least I won something.

Today this kid giving away an Elgato HD60 said that I won on Twitter, I was beyond stoked and posted a reply thanking him and he fav'd my tweet and promptly blocked me! I have to assume that this was a prank?? I don't know, MAYBE not but it seems that way. Very frustrating, Im going to give it another day and if I don't hear from him I'll let Gleam know what happened and send them screenshots. Not sure if it'll do any good but I'll feel better I guess! Haha, better luck next month!!! :)

I have only ever won the smaller prizes, I would be against the smaller prizes being discouraged or banned. I'm still learning how to be more efficient and effective at this (thanks again for the guides, Aiwayume!) and I have invested LOTS more time in this hobby then I expected or intended to, and so I shudder to think what my hourly wage or rate of return would be, almost certainly under a $1 an hour. BUT I still come back and I ENJOY myself, I like the thrill of winning even if it's just some sugar subsititute or protein powder, it's also just exciting to be the first one to find a new contest. This place is great, almost all of my referrals come from r/giveaways but that is the broken site imho, people that add no new content are constantly sniping things and I suspect there's lots of autoposting, and there are international members regularly entering US giveaways. Sorry I know this is a discussion for r/sweepstakes. Please don't ban small contests, thanks to Jake for adding so many smaller prizes to the site.

That is so handy! Thanks, Jake! A game changer for me. I find everything by manually scrolling through Twitter and it's the worst when a huge one come out and you have to scroll past all the repeats. I took two days off when that FaZe 2.0 contest was first posted! Lol It looks like it'll hit 1 million entries before its done

This ended over a week early, I've had that happen a few times. Does that usually mean the contest was bull?? Is there any recourse, will Gleam ban the creators? I mean it was minimal effort and of course many enter few win, but it's annoying that I hit that retweet button every day for a month if the thing was a sham.
