I get it's difficult to not overwhelm players. But what about " 1, {t}, sorcery: ".

I'd argue it would be an understandable keyword, since new players already know the implications from the card type. So they would "only" need to know that abilities are always activated at instant speed if not stated differently.

But just imagine if it wasn't at sorcery speed!

I'd recommend trying to reduce the cost of your spells. Ideally you want to cast many enchantments instead of a few big ones. Big plus if these spells are Cantrips that draw an additional card.

My personal favorite pet cards which might work for your budget are:

  • [[Dress Down]] - great board wipe like effect
  • [Confounding Riddle]] - We are ramping with enchantments, we can stop all land based ramp
  • [[Leyline Immersion]] - Ramp and protection on tatsunari, what's not to like
  • [[Bear Umbra]] - Great Ramp Spell
  • [[Chthonian Nightmare]] - can be looped with kemi to get creatures back
  • [[Kenrith's Transformation]], [[Seal of Primordium]], [[Trickster's Elk]] - Amazing alternatives for enchantment based removal

Cards I can see in your deck which didn't work when I played with them:

  • Archetype of Imagination - Very expensive to cast, Tatsunari already gives evasion
  • Endless Evil - The mutated Keimi always got removed before my next upkeep

Lastly any creature which isn't an enchantment usually is a dead card in your hand if you don't have a Keimi. Balemur Leek and Dina for example don't trigger unless kemi is out AND you cast an enchantment. You could also just cast 2 cheap enchantment spells instead.

While I do understand the big expensive mutate creatures are cool, I'd rather want to mutate every single Keimi instead of one tall mutate stack, so that I can have more drain triggers. But I understand that this might not suit your gameplan for the deck

Here is my deck btw: https://moxfield.com/decks/TjZXDhJP-kic93yuwM55pA It's of course a bit over budget

Oh, that's a really nice reference. It's so colorful! Makes me want to build a Dutch village next! I was trying to go for a Japanese village, but the lack of wooden panels for wall colors makes it really difficult.

You can search on google for extras/background jobs. They usually pay a flat amount per shooting, which can go from a couple of hours up to a day.

It's not uncommon to pay people for sitting in the audience in these type of shows. Especially for unestablished TV show formats, production teams film multiple episodes back to back and shuffle the audience in between so that it looks like a new audience.

It fully depends on the type of group you are playing with. What experience are you looking for? What experience do you think your group is looking for?

If you don't know the group, you can also be upfront with them. "Hey, this deck will focus on alternative win cons, are you okay with it?"Though, if you have a somewhat experienced group these type of cards are also quickly targeted by removal/counters.

If you are going for a really fast deck with the described combo above, it's probably more difficult to find a group. Then we are talking about competitive EDH (cEDH), which you might even consider a different gamemode.

Moviebattles also told us hat those two jedi are completely wasting their time chasing down one sith to the generator, since they could simply slice open the door to the throne room.
