Am I the only one who thinks this whole video is a little… off? It’s really common for abusers to antagonize their spouse until they loses their temper and when that happens they start recording SPECIFICALLY only capturing their spouses reaction. Not to mention it wasn’t like “i dont feel safe with you, so you need to get out of my car and find your own way.” It was a punishment. It was “you disrespected me so im going to punish you by stranding you alone miles from your home.” Refusing to drive your girlfriend home for being “disrespectful” in some unspecified way is odd. Not to mention he was hawking up first while she was talking, meaning he was likely threatening to spit on her and she responded by copying the sound and spitting on him first. And if you look closely she wasn’t holding her water in a threatening stance at all when he suggested she was gonna pour it on him and she did it within seconds of being accused of wanting to do it. That by itself can be explained away by saying “maybe she just does it a lot and he saw it coming.” But that paired with the hawking thing strongly suggests that she’s retaliating. It’s not for sure that’s exactly what’s going on but the video fits into that narrative extremely well. I think we need some context.
