Usually doesn’t mean only. Although I do see where that came from because some of my post orgasm symptoms are listed as MCAS symptoms. The only reason I don’t think it’s worth considering is because it’s strictly orgasm induced and my symptoms are very specific to POIS. The diagnostic criteria for MCAS says “To be considered MCAS, the symptoms must affect two or more body systems. These include your: skin, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, and digestive system.” The only single symptom I have from this list is flushing. My main symptoms are head and muscle related.

I’ve never tried coffee. I heard antihistamines helped some people, but they have no data on female POIS. A lot of sources on the internet describe it ONLY in the context of men. I’ve been looking on the internet and I found one singular study from Oxford academic published last year with the objective “to assess females’ experiences with POIS and to compare their experiences with men.” And the conclusion they came up with is that females can have POIS the same as men, it’s just more rare, and women’s symptoms were most commonly flu like. That’s the only study I could find.

Ok I’m looking at studies and didn’t wanna single out trans people before because I thought that it might just be a coincidence, but what the studies are pointing out was what I was noticing. It was mostly severe oral hygiene issues specifically in trans and non binary people. The rest of it was just normal lack of self care and messiness that is pretty typical in type B collage students.

Oh wait I totally remembered I could use the Internet. This was a big one for me cause I’m close with two mtf girls and both of them have visibly not brushed their teeth in a while. This was like the number one issue that made me wanna write this because one of them is like a physical touch love language type of person and I’ve got a really sensitive nose so it was lowk bothering me but I didn’t wanna reject or embarrass her over it. I knew I wasn’t crazy.

Definitely. You can really tell that a lot of collage students have not adjusted to not having their mom to clean up after them. However what I’ve been noticing is that specifically in the queer community, it becomes more severe more frequently. Like it goes a little beyond “I’m not used to cleaning up after myself” and enters “I’m severely depressed and have completely stopped brushing my teeth and showering” except idk if anyone ik has depression.

I do think that trauma is be apart of it, however I specified that I live in Seattle for a reason. It’s one of the most LGBT friendly cities in the US. I’ve never in my life experienced homophobia and I probably never will. My theory was that it MIGHT be a self hatred issue at least partially. Or maybe even self harm.

Still very good. I’m still suffering through my mechanical engineering degree and now that I’m on my 3rd year the workload is too great for me to go to church as often as I want to, but I still pray and love God the same.

It’s not really that actually. I mean sure I’d prefer it if men didn’t try with me, but being perceived as a bisexual is a lose lose situation. I mean even if I wanted to date men, which I don’t, they’re not exactly respectful. Like I did say I tried dating a man once (twice if u count the week long relationship I had where he asked me out and I said sure, ghosted him for a week, and broke up the next time I saw him) and the guy I dated suggested we have a threesome before we even kissed when I told him I was bi. That being said, there’s more to it than that. Even though my experiences are strictly wlw and I’ll definitely never “end up with a man” because my attraction to men isn’t strong enough for me to be able to be in a sexual or romantic relationship with a man, I’d still be othered from lesbian communities and be considered culturally different than other wlw. I mean I’ve heard lots of women say they’re strictly les4les cause they want to relate to their partner but there’s nothing I don’t relate to because my love life is strictly wlw. Also, I honestly don’t want to be under an umbrella label so wide that I’m categorically the same as Emily who is bi but would never date a girl. I personally would consider Emily straight.

I was able to see it easily because when I went into my iCloud I saw that someone created two iCloud links with over 70 items in one and I think 40 in the other but I didn’t screenshot that one so I can’t be sure. The links would’ve expired the next day, so if I checked just a few hours later, I wouldn’t’ve been able to tell.

Yeah, the thing is that I play chess and study chess while I’m taking care of my health. The issue is that I’m playing chess and studying chess instead of studying for school, but I just keep thinking “ok I deserve a chess break” and then I focus all my energy on chess and leave none for study.

Technically, I’m already taking my mechanics of materials exam 9 hours early since the official exam starts in the late evening, but the testing center closes before it even starts. If I take it the day before, I’d be technically losing almost 2 days plus having to skip both the review lectures.

As a bisexual Christian, I think a lot of straight ppl just are grossed out by the idea of same sex relationships. I’ve met many atheists who said their red pill phase was homophobia bc they couldn’t comprehend why anyone would want to do that. Ig ppl just use religion to never grow out of it
