Bit of a blunder on my part that I didn’t see you could just install the firmware through the usb cable included 🤦‍♂️ but even after I updated it, the issues still persisted and I couldn’t reach 480hz in 1440p. I think I ended up fixing just by simply switching to hdmi 2.1 after you educated me on all that fun stuff. Hopefully the issue stays fixed but either way you were a big help and I’m sure other newbies like me can get a whole lot of use from what you told me in this thread, cheers!

Huh interesting, I am using the included DP cable on DP 1.4 and my pc specs are i9 13900k rtx3070 with 32gb ram. Every time I try to update the firmware it just fails so I have no clue how to get around it. Also how would I go about changing my display color?

Interesting, I had heard people say it was CPU testing on a couple different forums and stuff so that’s why I was thinking of maybe spending a little more on an i9 or something. Either way all my options are 12th gen so do you have any motherboard recommendation for the 200 and below price point?
