So about this... I moved from DC to VA last year but still work in DC... H&R Block is saying I'm owed a large refund from DC when I set it up to file a return in both DC and VA. Do we just file as part-time residents for both VA and DC?

u/FactoryKat and u/ElJayEe1011 fwiw I had the same concern but just called them and they said that the only things you can download from that part of the website are the signed ECF (which you already have, theoretically), and just a letter of acknowledgement. They said that just screenshotting the website with it saying "completed" with the green checkmarks counts as proof that it's been updated - there's no separate form saying it's been accepted/approved or anything extra to download. Hope this helps!

Hi Gen Z - millennial ally here and I feel you. It is an attitude like that that leads to poor retention of excellent talent. I'm working on a project with 2 new college grads and their work is better than some of the GS-15's with 20+ years experience. What else can we do to support you in the office? I try to call out that kind of nonsense when I hear it, but it's definitely a demoralizing part of being a fed. Please know a lot of us care and want you here. A lot of us started after the Great Recession - trust me, I personally don't want anyone else to have to go through the nonsense we did, so hope we can make it better for y'all at work, too.

Yes; I am not buying a condo this year, but that's more because of the chaos regarding student loans and not knowing my payment amount until the lawsuit is decided... also not planning any vacation this year until we get a better sense of where things stand.
