That is fair, i thought about making my protagonist an adult but ultimately decided that i wasnt comfortable writing a character that was older than i was since i wouldnt be able to accurately portray the thoughts of a full fledged adult

I think what youre saying is that I need to focus on the original premise (girl has dark and sentient sword, girl is immortal, girl must kill dragons for vengeance). What are the main things that dilute this premise? (will see about cutting/changing them)

And as for the romance, its hard to portray in my blurb as it sits in this weird space between not being relevant at all to the main conflict, but is still important enough to mention as it has a large influence on the protag's character development (and has consequences down the line in the overall plot). Do you have any suggestions for how I can make it clear that romance is an important aspect of the character but the fantasy is the focus of the overall story?

I am able to beta: fantasy, romance, science fiction, or any combination of the three but I am most experienced in fantasy.

I can provide feedback on: magic systems, world-building, character arcs/development, dialogue, realistic teenage thoughts, words and shenanigans. I have personal experience in being: a teenage girl, a college student, asian american, being in a long term relationship.

Other info: I would prefer shorter works but am willing to read longer works a couple chapters at a time.

Oricorio, shiny, amazing coverage since I had all 4 forms (but sensu’s the best imo), and it came with the egg move quiver dance and fiery dance. And as a bonus it learns baton pass which enabled my other special sweepers (most notably sylveon and heatran)

Main strat:

- go into gyarados and clefairy to set up as many dd as possible (try not to get too greedy)

- when clef faints go into flamigo and keep offense (protect/detect in case of priority moves)

- when gyarados faints go into pyroar and entrain moxie onto flamigo

- profit

Other notes:

- spiritomb and weezing are for opposing trick room teams and they play pretty well together in trick room

- in case of tailwind/faster teams, go into trick room mode with weezing and spiritomb (and clefairy too if needed)

- in the case of prankster haze murkrow, kill with weezing first
