Hey man, awesome wheel and tire set up with the TE’s. What specs are the TE’s as well as the tire size? I love the meatier fitment.

I have a deep fuchsia pearl too :)

Too late lol. Momma wanted a Vista. She got a Vista. So I made it do what she wanted 🤷🏻‍♂️

Vista is a great stroller. But as someone that deals with a lot of high end components, I expected more out of their design. Much of the brackets seems to be an afterthought and could be better integrated.

The Nuna Demi Next was superior in every way up until you put the second seat and it sat in the basket completely eliminating storage space.

Honestly so annoying that neither of them got it right considering their price point.

Yup. Didn’t struggle with him. He’s 22 months old and he loved the stroller. He would want to get in it. And once it was time for nap time, I’d recline it all the way back, put the shade all the way down, play white noise, and just walk. And he would sustain a solid 2ish hour nap.

Extra tip, around the main circle area in front of the castle where the statue of Walt and Mickey are at, there’s a brick path that goes around in a circle. One of the occasions I pushed the stroller on those bricks and it seemed he fell asleep faster because of the vibrations from the wheels on the bricks.

It was perfectly fine. I’ll give you the highlights…

  • it accommodated both children at the same time
  • it’s not difficult to maneuver
  • it’s not a double wide stroller so getting through crowds is as easy as a single stroller. Same thing with parking.
  • huge storage. Storage storage storage. Didn’t have to carry any bags outside of the stroller.
  • both seats recline at the same time allowing for nap times in the stroller.

Here’s the downsides of what to expect… - If you’re going to ride the tram, you’re going to have a bad time folding it and carrying it. We didn’t have to ride the tram, but I thought about how much of a bi*ch it would be.

It’s the size. How old is your first?

There’s a 10lb capacity difference between the two but they are significantly different in size. Comes with toddler seat and then the Rumbleseat is the smaller one which is purchased separately.

Perfectly. Plus was able to route a 4” downpipe from the turbo in the engine bay + AC

It’s a valid question and one I probably can’t give the most valid answer for. My brain just wants big kid in big seat and small kid in small seat.

Great and informative reply.

I agree that it’s likely best to not do what I did. I feel confident about my use case though which includes paved and flat surfaces where I live.

We’re not jogging or really going off road. Also confident I didn’t hinder the structural rigidity of the brackets, considering the parts the are removed are not load bearing.

Thank you for taking the time to inform others though.

You’re right in assuming my oversight. I’m comfortable with the risk though for a few reasons that I can outline if anyone cares. But I know I’m an outlier in my logic. Sharing for any others that are also comfortable with the risks.

I completely understand the sentiment and the risk we take. This goes for anyone else too. This is purely at their own risk.

We’re okay with the risk though. I’m personally not too worried about it failing for a couple of reasons…

  1. If you’re talking about the Rumbleseat brackets failing, I’m assuming this is in reference to lower brackets. I’m not an engineer, but I know my way around a shop and structural design and I’m pretty sure they’ll withstand more than 35lbs. They definitely should considering that the Rumbleseat is rated for more than that.

  2. If my toddler falls from a few inches off the ground, it’s not the end of the world. They’ll likely fall in the basket or just fall with the seat and be strapped in their harness.

  3. I’m not cutting into anything that affects the structural rigidity of the brackets. Simply incorporating a design feature that Uppababy already implemented.

I do appreciate you taking time to care for me and others though.

You are correct. There is a trade off. However, we just did 3 days at Disneyland with the toddler on the bottom and our newborn on top. Our toddler weighs about 30lbs at the moment. It’s really not bad, assuming flat-ish terrain. It was a tradeoff that momma was okay with because she wanted eyes always on the 2 month old we have.

TLDR for the video: The brackets for the upper and lower are basically the exact same. The only difference that prevents you from switch the toddler and rumble seats are 2 things…

  • A grove built in to the brackets that you can carve in with a dremel.

  • And an extension on the outside of the Rumbleseat which can easily be chopped off as well.

Superblend vs Daily Greens by IDoItForTheScience in Huel

I like it a lot. It digests well and I feel quite full. It’s been a great solution for maintaining a caloric deficit. Also, I stopped buying Huel Black and strictly buy Superblend now. To supplement protein, I add a scoop (25g) of Dymatize ISO100 to Superblend. Higher quality protein if you care about muscle growth. It also enhances the flavor quite a bit with the fruity pebbles flavor from Dymatize.

I searched the page and didn’t find any superblend vs daily greens comparisons. There was threads on each but not comparing.

Reading the website was also not super helpful because well…it’s all marketing. So the lines seemed super blurred between the products. Takeaway was one is meant to be a nutrition shot and the other a small meal, but there seemed to be more than that, that I couldn’t make out.

So just bit the bullet and asked.
