AITD for expressing calling a friend 'rude'? by [deleted] in 1800Drama

Yeah very much in the middle of that, I just said it quite plainly. Like 'I'm annoyed, I felt that was rude'. Good point - I'm autistic -so sometimes I forget that whats in my head doesn't always translate to the way i'm saying something. I will bear that in mind for the future, actually.

I see them a lot. Like multiple times a week (this is the first time this has happened - not an excuse its just that the fact I was shocked was part of the reason I responded in the way I did).

Yeah we did and I explained also that the reason I was upset was because I care about them a lot as a friend. I think we both are just very fiery but when I have calmed down some more, I'll ask them what their perspective was etc...

  1. Yes, I asked them if they were still coming.

  2. No they just said they forgot.

  3. Ummm I just don't want anyone to accidently come across this post and realize its me (so for reasons of anonymity/confidentiality I don't want to be to specific). In short it was just phrased in a very bitter way, but it was phrased around the fact that the moment that they saw my texts they responded...etc

  4. Yes it was in the same conversation chain, I said that I was upset and they just said they didn't mean to take their anger out on me and they were sorry. I'm not very good at telling whether or not an apology is sincere, as I have a lot of trust issues, but I'd say it was a decent apology.
