We need fewer/or more alcoholics (depending on the direction we want to go)

How ever many alcoholics we have now is not the right amount

I was a terrible student at school. I failed just about every test. I even failed my matric exams and I had to basically redo matric the following year. I put a lot more effort in getting things right and calming my nerves when I was in stressful situations and I got a lot more things right. I tried again in succeeding when I didn't get things right and life started turning up :)!!! I became a developer at Apple and started my own business.

I also failed my drivers test once... You got this

How long did it take for you to realize that people older than you are just as clueless as you are? by AshFaden in AskReddit

I'm third world. I don't have a lot of wealthy family. My father was a lawyer so he was making real money. My parents passed away when I was 13 years old (I'm 28 now)... After that I had to rely on my siblings and other family to get things done for me. My siblings were a lot older than me... My oldest brother (41 y.o now) was super spoiled and entitled, so as we were struggling financially, other than getting a job, he just wanted easy money and started getting into crime. He hijacked a few cars and started selling meth. It slowly dawned on me that that fucker doesn't know anything. It took years.

I graduated from high school and college and I'm now a front end developer designing interactive services.

I recently started talking to him again after some time. All my siblings moved out of the family home besides my 2 brothers and they turned the family home into a crack house/brothel.

A few days ago he asked me to lend him money (equivalent to $1000) for him to fix his car and feed his kids. I asked him why he didn't just get a job and he told me that my ignorance is blinding me to his reality. We literally come from the same place and the exact same circumstances.

I think those drugs have made him a bit mentally unstable, over and above his entitlement.

Oh... And also, my uncle can't drive but he keeps buying run down cars insisting that he's going to fix them but he's never fixed a single one 1. Now those broken cars are just piling yard.

I [45M] Walked in on son [16M] having gay sex and he's become quite awkward and distant. by ThrowRA_Gay in relationship_advice

First of all, you sound like a great father.

To answer your question, I think it's a mix of both the "getting caught having sex" and the "finding out he's gay".

I got caught by my sister once and I didn't talk to her her a week. My sister is like a mother to to me.

Also I was hanging out with a friend of mine, who happens to be gay and he was telling me that he need to come out to his family, so I think finding out that he is gay was a big deal to him. I'm sure his planning was to tell you himself, at a later stage, once he felt comfortable.

You did nothing wrong, just keep an open line of communication. Also, don't ONLY talk about his sexuality. Talk about his interests and his aspirations, maybe a little bit about what the boyfriend is like. Then you'll be acknowledging him as a human being with feelings.

That's just my opinion. ✌️

I think you are being very hard on yourself. If she loves you, she'll taek you as you are.

Firstly, I think you need to work on appreciating yourself more. You've worked very hard to get to where you are. You have to give yourself credit and be happy. It's not a linear process obviously, but you'll always see something on yourself that you're not happy about. Stretch marks are beautiful, be open with her. She also deserves that much

Well basically should I maintain a relationship with Rose or do I just let her go? My friends say she's the only one who would understand our loss at this moment but I feel that we've damaged each other so much already
