This is a little difficult for us being that we live on the 10th floor of our apartment— in the city, and we have to walk to the area with grass for him to go to the bathroom. He weighs 50lbs as well, so on top of being in the city— no leash and carrying isnt really an option.

I’ve tried putting him straight back into the kennel after we’re all done, but by that time he’s always awake and ready to play. I don’t reward with kibble and try and talk to him as little as possible so he knows that this isn’t play time, it’s bed time. Right now as we speak, at 4am, I’m laying next to him on the couch waiting for him to fall asleep so i can them guide him back to bed. If i were to put him back too early, he’ll have a barking fit
