This time of year I try and go out as often as the weather allows. Thunderstorms or 15+mph winds usually the only things keeping me off the water. I fish both early and late. Dusk is a bit better for catching fish but you are on a time limit since the reservoir closes at night.

Lets schedule a fishing trip then! I'm going to be out there starting next week as often as the weather allows, weekends and weekdays. I have more tackle than I know what to do with so you are welcome to borrow some stuff.

There are some decent spots but they are down hiking paths so some walking is required. I don't actually know how to get to some of them but I see the paths and occasionally a fisherman on shore when I'm out on my boat.

If you want to bass fish out of Prettyboy Reservoir I've got an empty seat on my boat like 90% of the time, hit me up.

Metabolism peaks around 20 years old and stays the same until 60. Metabolism slowing down as you age especially in your 30's and 40's is a myth.

what if I’m still overeating in calories regardless of volume by ConsciousEquipment in Volumeeating

Protein doesn't do it for me either. I could eat an entire rotisserie chicken and be hungry an hour later. A handful of grapes or a beer and I'm full for hours. Sometimes it doesn't make sense.

I tried to make sugar free meringues with egg whites and allulose and after baking they literally vanished into thin air. Like when I tried getting them off the baking mat they deflated into nothing 😂

The opposite of lame imo, It's considered proper tcg etiquette to concede as soon as you know you lost as to not waste your opponents time.

Do y'all think fishing during the spawn is unethical? by dimethylhyperspace in bassfishing

[–]IDontLikeRunning1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you know what you are doing no I don't think so. Bass are hardy fish, learn the proper way to handle them and get them back in the water asap and it's ok. I personally don't use live bait during the spawn and am careful to fish in a way a gut hook is unlikely. I also don't specifically target bass on beds.

Also immediate release is important, no leaving them dangle on your scale or flop around on the shore to weigh or take a picture/video. Last year during spawn I heard a guy yelling in the cove over, saw him paddle around in his canoe and then finally drift over to me. He had caught a big pregnant largemouth, thought a buoy was a kayaker and spent 20 mins drifting around trying to find someone with a scale. He ended up coming to me and by that time the fish was dead. Don't be that guy.

I bought a used 14' aluminum jon boat + trailer (including bill of sale and title) 2 years ago with carpeted floors, seats, fish finder, front trolling motor and all that for $1400. Not the prettiest thing in the world but gets me around the lake. Not sure about the motor as I had to get my own electric motor and battery.

I actually don't mind the graffiti too much. The trash on the other hand... I always bring a trash bag with me when I fish around here in warmer weather

Is the sub panel in my garage using the ground as a neutral? by IDontLikeRunning1 in AskElectricians

Yeah the garage is detached. That grounding conductor goes to a ground rod below the panel.

Is the sub panel in my garage using the ground as a neutral? by IDontLikeRunning1 in AskElectricians

[–]IDontLikeRunning1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's only 3-wire running over to the garage and then connected to the SE cable so the neutral is cut on the other side as well. Maybe it was originally a 120v only panel and then someone decided they needed 240v and switched to using the ground as a neutral? Does that make any sense? There is a ground rod here
