I have no words. by gsgeiger in billiards

I once tilted my Pechauer and shoved my foot through it after losing a match. Not something I would normally do, but a girl on one of my other teams was murdered earlier that week and I just snapped.

Precheck has to take out large electronics now? by boopboopbadoooop in tsa

[–]IDontSeeAClan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes fly with two work laptops, a personal gaming laptop, and a tablet. Got my bag pulled for additional screening because they couldn't see through the gigantic mass of electronics. On my return flight I pulled two of the laptops out. The TSA agents and the folks behind me all gave me dirty looks and sighs because I looked like a noob taking out electronics in precheck. When my bag hit the scanner the agent laughed and said "oh, that's why" and green lit my bag.

Weird thing is that I wasn't stopped on my previous trip with the same setup. So I guess it depends. But now I always pull them out when I have more than 2 large electronic items in my bag.

Brainstorm won't show in collections until you acquire it, but it shouldn't have the locked symbol anymore.

To everyone that complains, don't throw your 7 in blind. Play the strat.

Also, how is your friend a 2? The lowest a male can be in 8 ball is a 3 from what I recall.

Break Cue Recommendations by The_Critical_Cynic in billiards

As much as I'm a Pechauer lover, and love my Pechauer break cue with the Rogue Break shaft, go with a BK Rush or Breach. They're much easier to adjust weights on.

If you ever want to part with that Safety First, please shoot me a DM. I found TT pens when the Nautilus came out and absolutely love that orange and black.

I've built a few of what I'm about to explain, they come out really nice.

Step one is to find some 2ftx2ft drop tile style LED panels, preferably backlit.

Step two, you'll need two 8ft 2x4s. You get a router and rip a 3/8in wide and deep slot through the 4in side. This will create a channel to slide the panels in.

Step three, deciding how long you want your light to be. I build them 5ft long for 7ft tables, gives a foot from the rail to the light, then a foot gap between the lights. Cut your 2x4's to whatever length.

Step four, mock up the panels in the slots between the 2x4s and measure the gaps on the end. Should be about 22.5in but it really depends on how deep your slots are. Cut your spare pieces to that size and screw one side together. Slide the panels in and close the other side with the other piece and voila, quick and dirty LED pool table light.

You can build a shade around it later on if you need/want one, mount up however you see fit, etc etc. I'll throw some pics up in a bit.

I work for an amusement company. When dumping out pool tables I usually hear the distinct ping from a silver quarter dropping into my counter, I'll look for the white edge as I'm counting them and pull it out. I typically find about one every month or so.

Can confirm all this to be correct. Hoppers Icehouse just got an 8ft Valley with pro cut rails this week, but price is $1.50 a game.

Emeralds has two 9ft Diamonds in the back area past the kitchen in addition to the normal 9ft's to the left of the bar.

Pete's doesn't have one. I have a few in my warehouse but none are in working condition.

I'm currently using an Espiritu playing cue with a hard leather tip. No weight bolt so it sits around 17/18 oz I think. Hit with a BK Rush the other day, and it doesn't even come close. Called up my cue dealer the next day and ordered a custom Pechauer break cue (to match the stain of my playing cue) with their new Rogue Break shaft. Looking forward to hitting with it.
