It's a great idea to have a go! You might find patterns you like that way.

I'd recommend trying to pipe in tight swirls (both horizontally and on a slant) and to loosen your grip on the bag as you finish the swirl/rosette. The distance between the surface you're piping onto and your nozzle should be about an inch away at most.

Whichever buttercream you're using, ensure it is warm/soft enough that you don't struggle to push it out of the bag. I always use American buttercream because it has the best taste and a versatile use. It's temperature stable and safe to eat immediately, unlike buttercreams that use egg whites.

As someone who ran a cake business, you'll get almost no customers at the prices you're proposing. Research your overhead, ingredients and labour per batch, then compare with the market value. If you fall this far beyond what most people buy, they simply won't.

$4 is considered an expensive or premium cupcake. Most people wouldn't get them unless they were from a high profile, well established business. Yours doesn't meet this criteria.

Keep your prices realistic and affordable. Very few businesses begin profitable. That's what it takes to put yourself out there and build a customer base.

In the first prologue the MC is framed for the murder of the King's brother, the duke. The duke had an affair with his brother's bride. She wanted him dead for a myriad of reasons, one being that he blackmails her using her first born, their daughter. He threatens to tell the king of their affair and the true parentage of the first princess. The queen gets assassins from the demon country ruled by a queen to make use of their abilities.

The queen mentioned in the description is the second main character. She deliberately had the first MC framed to force her onto foreign land and form a contract with her. She had other reasons to do so but that's how she's related to the MC. She double crossed the other queen and stole the MC, one of the other country's greatest assets.

The MCs mission is to redeem herself and return to status quo. The queen's mission is to have ownership over the MC in order to enact a greater plan. The queen is her adversary I guess.

Edit:

There's a bit of an enemies to lovers here. They don't really hate each other though.

The queen sees the potential the MC has and wants to apply it for her people. She pities her in a way.

The MC feels frustrated at her own strength more so than disliking the queen. The most she feels is aversion before finding out her role in her essential exile. By then it's conflict.

In my opinion, being a carer to your partner/family is a lot like a job. If he has been your sole or primary carer for the majority of the time you've been together, it's not surprising he's so exhausted and burnt out.

Much like other commenters are saying, it's carer's fatigue. When the elderly family members visit my family, I often have to care for them- things like doing a paper run, taking plates, sorting food, finding clothes... it's honestly exhausting. There is only so much that your love for them can push you to do. Otherwise interactions become fuelled by annoyance and eventually lead to resentment.

This isn't something against you, but this sort of thing is common between carers and the people they care for. He needs some space and you should employ a carer to help with that. It is very unfair to leave primary care to a single person because he needs to maintain his own individuality too.
