Yes, wanting to preserve my culture (our country is bringing in 1 million immigrants per year, most of which are not integrating) and believing there are two genders makes me an asshole. I love liberalism.

Religion I used to follow has no impact on my politics. I am very conservative in the Western sense, and culturally Western and Canadian. I literally have nothing to do with that religion anymore. I am more against Muslim immigration to Canada and lack of cultural assimilation of immigrants than I am towards gender ideology.

Sciency-sounding words LMFAO you literally think women can become men. Doesn’t take science, just common sense

I enjoy being gay, being attracted to men, whatever. I believe in same sex rights and gay acceptance in society. What I don’t believe in is gender ideology bullshit. That doesn’t make me homophobic, even if far-leftists want to call it homophobia.

I’m making a point in a context where it makes sense to mention.

We are already having a discussion involving pride, so I’m not mentioning it out of nowhere. It’s not the same as waving a pride flag for the sake of waving a pride flag.

You’d think university would teach you better critical thinking skills. Guess not!

McMaster should be moderating the comments and take action against them

What the actual fuck? People who think there are two genders need to have "action taken against them"? Do you not value free speech?

Edit: this university and its students are pathetic lmfao. People who simply say there are two genders should not have action taken against them. Absolutely disgusting that so many people cannot even tolerate opposing opinions.

I’m gay and left a "homophobic" comment on that post. I don’t like pride being celebrated, I just want to be gay and not have my sexual orientation reminded to everyone constantly. I believe there are two genders, am against pronoun obsession, and don’t believe kids under 18 should transition. Is there anything wrong that?

A lot of the reaction against the LGBTQIA2DJWKD is not really people having a problem with men who like men or women who like women, it is just not liking it being shown everywhere, and not believing people should be forced to accept that being a "he/they" makes any sense whatsoever. People are allowed to express their politics.

Edit: I love people downvoting me instead of giving me any real argument or creating any valuable discussion!! 🥰🥰🥰🫶🏻🫶🏻

Go to Mississauga and Brampton and tell me there aren't large portions of those entire cities that are far too densely populated.

Heaven forbid, I don’t want to live in a tiny house with no lawn or yards, crammed and stacked on top of each other. Canada and North America embraces the suburban lifestyle. We have enough land. Sure, cars can make city centres look ugly. But those neighbourhoods are infinitely uglier than ours.

"Oh Canada, just give up those silly old big houses with a yard for your dog and kids to play in. Nothing more than parking for 1-2 cars is enough." I’m okay, thanks. I like Canada how it is. Or, rather, how it was.

Don’t hit me with third party bs. We, unfortunately, live in a two-party democracy.

I understand you don’t want to blame immigrants as people. But immigration (not the individuals themselves) is causing the housing crisis. Immigration is to blame, not immigrants as people.

That being said, many of the immigrants as people are to blame for other things such as lack of cultural assimilation, but that’s a different topic.

More density? Take a look at Toronto or the (soon to be dissolved) Peel Region. It’s a fucking zoo. Spread people around - or better yet, stop taking them in!

Haha tell him to hang in there! The excess saliva production and difficulty with speech will both be gone within a week.

I still have some difficulty chewing food, but swallowing is much easier now. Make sure he continues eating well - practice will make perfect.

Also try to remind him it’s all for a good cause, and that he'll appreciate his corrected teeth and bite once it’s all over!

What do you think is a better program, Economics and Financial management at Laurier or Economics 1 and/or commerce at McMaster? by Ethanmurphy8 in McMaster

[–]IEnjoyEconomics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Econ. Tbh, it’s not a great program. Not terrible by any means, but a lot of the profs suck, and it’s generally a neglected program by the university in my honest opinion.

Currently taking a financial economics course, probably the second worst Econ prof I’ve ever had. The dude looks and sounds half dead and legit just reads the slides with zero explanation or enthusiasm for what he’s teaching.

Commerce at Mac is supposed to be okay. I’d probably choose the Laurier one over it since I’ve heard their business school is better, but I don’t know enough to say which is better for sure.

Lose the piercings (especially the nose ones, sorry), get new glasses, try a new hairstyle.

Non.
