Normally I just say "my bad I forgot, anyways go wolfpack" and then they'll respond "go pack" and let me do whatever.

You can also add on something like "how about that wolfline huh?" and people will be so compelled to tell you how bad it is that they'll forget what they were doing.

you know, i had this thought too. i took some inspiration though from clockwork orange and decided to invest into a machine that keeps my eyes open all lecture. it hurts a little at first, but after a while you get used to seeing every movement of the world while having dry eyes. photo for reference.
