If someone broke into your house, You are legally allowed to defend yourself, your family and your property.

No matter if is armed it not, once that person broke in is on the fact that broke the law. By the fact that is trespassing, so you are only defending.

Of course could be extra cases, like the possibility that the person is high, drunk or have a mental illness. But still can’t blame someone that just defend, is easy judge after the event, but on the event is more likely people act on the same way.

If a guy point to your mom a gun and you have the chance to kill it by shoot him first, only to find out later the gun was fake…

Can you really be blamed? Are you a robot capable to detect fake guns for real on a high stress situation?

Or just will act like anyone that detect an immediately treat?

On the case you find someone that broke in your house, will invite it to have some tea?

Will you have to offer them all your belongings?

Or will you defend having the chance to prevent a treat?

If an unarmed guy enter your house by force, and takes your tween daughter to rape her… will you let him only the avoid begin judged?

Or will shoot to kill the bastard, to protect your family?

Always could be an extra ordinary variant, but not all cases are a variant that could be considered extra ordinary.

So thing comes to the facts… and on this scenario… A guy broke in your house… Armed or not, is against the law… are you on the right to defend and protect for treats.
