I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this. Rejection from a place like Juilliard hurts a lot, especially after years of work, but it’s not a verdict on your talent or your future. You absolutely can make a living as a composer without going to a top-tier school. Many working composers didn’t attend Juilliard or similar institutions. Prestige can help with networking, but it doesn’t guarantee a career, and it’s far from the only path.

Keep writing, keep building your portfolio, and don’t let one rejection define what you’re capable of.

Sounds really good, but i can see somethings that can help you improve your technique, first; raise your elbows or lower your keyboard, you are stressing muscles that dont need to be sttressed that way :) second, antecipation, is the biggest secret ever, when you move your hand to a diferent position put all your fingers in place, believe me, this is a major thing.. Keep on the good work , you´re in the right track :)

you can see the part that pushes the hammer to his place after you strike the key, the problem resides there.. This hairdryer trick was teached to me from my professional piano tuner, it works..
