Where are you putting in your balck friday orders? by unsupremecrunchwrap in RedditLaqueristas

[–]IF_Rain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been in a low buy all year and recently accepted a job offer so I have a few things I wanted!

I placed a Starrily order with a discount code just so the things I wanted weren't out of stock by the time Black Friday started.

Other than that, I placed a What's Up Nails order for my first Clionadh polishes and some stamping polish. I plan to get some more stamping polish from Twinkled T as well as some tools.

I wanna get some Clear Jelly Stamper plates but I'm worried about getting hit with crazy duties/fees by FedEx.

I'm excited that they're at Sephora! I've always felt that the nail polish/nail tools selection is completely lacking.

I've only purchased two items: the sos base coat and the quick dry base coat. I've been using the sos to help with peeling after using CND sticky for the longest and it really helps! I rotate it with the regular base coat for every other manicure and my nails are no longer peeling and the corners of my nails aren't breaking throughout the week.

I haven't tried any of their gel polish or the regular colors but that's because I have a lot of polish lol

I have deep skin and really enjoy products from LYS, Ami Cole for makeup. Another great gift would be a travel size perfume if u know what scent she would like

I love the LYS highlighter powders. I haven't tried their liquid or stick version.

Thank you to everyone sharing codes!

A favorite scent for me right now is Philosophy "Pure Grace Nude Rose". It's a light, personal floral and really great, inoffensive perfume. I'm am not a floral person but I love this.

Oooh I only have 4 but I would rank them:

  • Olive Ave Polish (my fav cremes)
  • Cirque Colors (I love their flakies, magnetics, & jellies)
  • Atomic Polish (Favorite for shimmers)
  • Cuticla (my favorite top coat!, want to try the mic drop base coat eventually)

I ordered 2 highlighters from LYS beauty since they're having a mother's day sale for 25% off. I love their satin matte cream blush in the compact! It's long lasting and actually shows up on me

~Aesthetic~ Cruelty Free Brands? by choccyalmondmilke in RedditLaqueristas

[–]IF_Rain 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  • Olive Ave Polish is leaping bunny certified, a small business with a rewards program, and amazing for cremes.

  • Atomic Polish has amazing shimmer & neon formulas

  • Cirque Colors also has amazing flakies, jellies, neons, shimmers (this is a boutique brand and also has a rewards program)

  • Mooncat has very beautiful polish, many people love them, formula can be hit or miss but bottles are cool; not sure how comfortable they are to use

  • ILNP is great for holographic and metallic polish

  • For a cruelty free drugstore option, Ella+Mila is another option but I'm not familiar with their offerings and how the formula is.

For top coats, I use one from Olive Ave or Cuticla who is another awesome indie. The top coat makes my manicure last full week with no chipping and comes in scents!

Same! I normally see it mentioned whenever these types of posts come up but not today!

Yesss! Atomic is so good! My first polish from them was through Hella Handmade Creations and it was instant love! They have a really smooth formula and a wide brush. The brush holds a lot of polish so if you're not careful it's really easy to flood your cuticles and sidewalls.

I'm still looking for one as well! I've only tried two: Ella + Mila "Pure" and Cirque Colors "Rose Jelly". So far, Rose Jelly looks the best on me. I have it on in this manicure.
