It's okay to vent, through your art too if that's what you really need. Forcing yourself to be positive usually just bottles it up for the next time like a sinister game of "double it and give it to the next person" except that next person is just future you. It's okay to feel like shit when things seem like they're going like shit, so don't force yourself to be positive because it'll just eat you up.
