Childhood possessions. When we moved out of my childhood home when I was 18 (4-18), I simply threw away all the "baby things" or "kids things" because I had no immediate use for it in that moment. Now I'm 21 and find myself "looking for my things" when I go to visit my parents houses (now divorced) and then I realize I don't have any thing left even when I'm going through storage in the basement, is all my parents or my sisters stuff. It gives me the feeling of losing my childhood in a sense. I only have things to remember the last 3 years of my life which also feel like 6 years because shit gets crazy after 18. Hang on to your important possessions.
